Tennessee Titans rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr. spread the Christmas spirit this week with an incredibly touching gesture.
The cornerback stunned a single mother of six in a Nashville restaurant last weekend when his incredible charitable act ensured she could pay her rent and afford warm clothing this winter.
Kristie Johnson, a waitress at the establishment in Music City, took to social media to unveil the NFL player’s good deed this week.
Johnson revealed that she had asked Brownlee for a photo and an autograph for her son, only for him to gift her much more.
‘He then proceeds to ask for my Cash App and sends me more than enough to pay the rest of my rent and get winter clothes for my kids,’ she wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
‘This is what real men are made of!! Taking care of the single moms!! My heart will forever be with the Tn Titans!! God bless this man!

‘He doesn’t even know how bad I needed this help… yes, I was crying in this pic.’
Brownlee opened up on the heartwarming encounter this week, revealing to reporters that he had pledged to help out several people this month ahead of the holiday period.
The 23-year-old attended dinner with his family at the restaurant following the Titans’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, where he met Johnson.
‘That’s all I needed to hear,’ he said. ‘My mom was a single parent raising three on her own, and for her to have six, I know it’s harder than what my mom went through.
‘So, for me, just having the chance to help her — man, it touched me. It touched my family. It touched my mom.’
Brownlee also shared an inspiring message to Johnson, adding that he intended to treat her and her children to a dinner.
‘God bless you, Kristie,’ Brownlee said, via Fox17. ‘I appreciate you for letting me help you. It’s something that I always planned on doing with just being in this level of profession.
‘This is my dream, and one of my dreams was to always give back no matter where it’s from. No matter if it’s in my community or any other community.
Something amazing happened today..
I was working per usual, waitressing, in Nashville.. and three Tn Titans came in to eat after the game ….

‘Nashville is a part of me now. It’s home,’ he added. ‘I look forward to giving back to other families as well, and I hope you’re prepared for dinner. Thank you, God bless you and I look forward to seeing you soon.’
Brownlee was selected by the Titans in the fifth round of this year’s NFL Draft out of Louisville.
He has started in every game since Week 4, recording 55 tackles and one interception in 13 games this season.
He is next expected to suit up for the Titans’ Week 15 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
