Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden dazzled at the Nobel Prize 2024 King’s Dinner in Stockholm on Wednesday evening – dressed in a high street gown which she first wore in 2020.
While the heir to the Swedish throne, 47, looked suitably glamorous for the white tie dinner held at the Royal Palace in the capital, eagle-eyed royal watchers would have noted that her midnight blue, tulle gown was the same H&M number that she wore to mark her 10th wedding anniversary more than four years ago.
Clearly a favourite of Victoria’s, the royal later wore the striking dress to a gala at the Royal Academy of Letters in March 2022.
The gown, which retailed at £229.99, features mesh sleeves and subtle silver detailing.
Victoria, who shares two children with Prince Daniel, also wore a white sash across her, along with a brooch and ribbons.
Wearing a diamond necklace and statement diamond earrings, Victoria, the eldest daughter of Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf XVI, smiled as she posed for photographs with Prince Daniel and the Nobel laureates.
With her brown hair brushed back in an elegant chignon, she added a striking diamond-encrusted, two-tier tiara.
Victoria’s complexion was radiant and bronzed while her smokey eye make-up complemented her glamorous evening look.

Prince Daniel, 51, cut a smart figure in formal white tie featuring a black tuxedo jacket with tails, a white shirt and a matching bow tie.
Also present at the Nobel Prize 2024 King’s Dinner were Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf XVI.
Queen Silvia, 80, matched her daughter in a midnight blue, embroidered and jewelled floor-length gown.
Featuring mesh sleeves, her sparkling ensemble was fitting for the lavish affair honouring Nobel laureates in the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry, literature and economics.
The wife of King Carl Gustaf XVI also wore the symbolic white sash and complementary brooch.
Her diamond necklace paired perfectly with the her elaborate diamond-encrusted tiara.
Like his son-in-law, King Carl Gustaf, 78, wore white tie attire – but he added a blue sash, along with what appeared to be two medals.
The king and queen’s youngest child Princess Madeline, 42, looked equally stunning in a silver gown complete with metallic embroidery.

Seated next to Nobel laureate for medicine Victor Ambros, she wore her long blond hair in a classic blow dry and added a gold and diamond-encrusted tiara.
The Swedish king and queen, who will in 2026 celebrate 50 years of marriage, share another child, Prince Carl Philip, 45, who was not pictured in photographs of the Kings Dinner.
His absence might be explained by the fact that his wife Princess Sofia is currently pregnant with their fourth child.

Queen Silvia, meanwhile, was seated next to chemistry laureate Demis Hassabis.
The event comes just one day after the glitzy Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony, which took place at Stockholm Concert Hall on Tuesday evening.
Victoria joined her parents and husband, Prince Daniel on the stage at the glamorous event.
Victoria put on an elegant display in a deep purple off-the-shoulder ballgown, sparkling tiara, and sophisticated clutch bag.

She studied Political Science and History at Yale University and is a graduate of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Programme.
Queen Silvia opted for a similarly dazzling navy sequin dress featuring long sleeves.
Meanwhile, King Carl Gustaf dressed in a dapper suit and tailcoat, presented the Nobel laureate in Chemistry to American chemist and computer scientist John Jumper.
The monarch also presented the Nobel laureate in literature to South Korean writer Han Kang, 54, during the Nobel Prize 2024 award ceremony.
Afterwards, crowds were pictured enjoyed a glittering banquet.
Royals were mixed in with Nobel laureates, and appeared to enjoy conversations amid the stunningly decorated tables.
Golden tableware was teamed with a myriad of different glasses and dozens of flowers.
On the menu was a goat cheese dish, served with ‘Swedish beets, honey and quince glaze, along with roasted pumpkin seeds’ for starter, a ‘quenelle of chicken’ with a selection of vegetables for the main, and a ‘variation on Swedish apples’ for dessert.
Theatrical performances followed soon after, which featured Swedish singer Laleh Pourkarim.
