Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has revealed how Teresa Giudice really feels about her friendship with estranged sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga – and how it affects their relationship.
Catania, 53, spoke about their rift in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com on Thursday, as she remains friends with both of the ladies.
Over the years, Giudice and Gorga have always been at odds, sometimes going years without speaking, as documented on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
However, it looks like things are finally done for good between the two families, as Giudice and her brother, Joe, got in a mega feud around the time of her wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022.
The feud was documented during the RHONJ season 13 finale, as Giudice told her brother about a rumor that Melissa Gorga was cheating on him with another man.
This caused Gorga and her husband to skip out on the wedding, and the two haven’t communicated since, besides having to film occasionally for season 14 of the reality show.
However, Catania is staying friends with both of the ladies amid their estrangement, including Giudice, who she has known since she was a child.
‘Listen, does she love it? I’m sure she doesn’t love it,’ Catania admitted of Giudice’s feelings on her friendship with Gorga to DailyMail.com.

‘But she doesn’t hate it either, because there’s no reason not for me to be friends with Melissa,’ Catania continued.
‘I was there from the beginning and I’ve been friends with them through their ins and outs so Teresa’s not really one to tell people who they can be friends with.’
She even suggested that there could be a world in which the two mend their relationship.
‘Because what happens when they get close again if they get close again?’ Catania wondered to DailyMail.com.
‘And I’m not just saying them, but other friends in groups. When they get into fights you pick a side and then they make up, then where do you stand?’
During the interview, the New Jersey native also shared that she hasn’t seen Joe and Melissa Gorga in person recently, but talked to them.
‘I keep in touch with everyone,’ Catania shared with DailyMail.com.
‘The other day I was with Teresa, Jen Aydin and Kim D on her podcast,’ she continued, adding that she was going to see other cast members Margaret Josephs and Jen Fessler later in the day.

Catania’s comments come just a few weeks before season three of the hit show Traitors is set to premiere in January.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star participated in the US version of the show, which is filmed in Scotland, and will air on Peacock.
The show, which features 21 contestants, follows them all as they compete in teams for a cash prize up to $250,000.
However, there’s a catch, as three of the contestants are declared as ‘traitors,’ as they try to sabotage everyone else in order to win themselves.
The viewers of the show know who the ‘traitors’ are, but not the fellow contestants.
On the upcoming season, Catania will be joined by fellow Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley, former Real Housewives of Potomac member Robyn Dixon and Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan.
