Police have since said they’re on the hunt for five people as the investigation remains ongoing.

Surveillance video captured the assault, as Dorzon begged for his life.

Dorzon’s mother Patience told the Washington Post her son remains in a stable condition, and that she’s ‘praying’ police ‘catch the people who did it.’

‘Put them away so they don’t do this to anyone else. I don’t want any mother to go through the pain that I’m going through,’ she said in an appeal to police.

‘I’m asking for total healing for my son.He means the world to me; that’s my baby.’

Dorzon owns two restaurants in the region.

This is a developing story. More to come.
