In the initial clip, she said: ‘Let’s pick up all the dirty diapers I have lying around my house right now.

‘I kid you not, my guess is probably 15. They just get thrown around my house and then I put them in a bag at the end of the day.

‘I have been solo-parenting for the last 24 hours so let’s see how many dirty diapers I have lying around.’

The mom went from room to room and picked up a whopping 17 diapers.

Hannah added: ‘I promise you, I’m not even exaggerating, this has only been 24 hours.’

She captioned the video: ‘Omg so gross.’

Viewers flocked to the comments section and shared their thoughts about her clip, with them being divided about the practice.

One person said: ‘This is absolutely not relatable.’

Someone else wrote: ‘You don’t need a diaper genie to throw away diapers! Hope this helps!’

Another user added: ‘That can be a huge health hazard.’

Others ran to the mom’s defense and offered her support.

‘I hope you see this comment Hannah I see you, I feel you, and I am so proud of you,’ one person added.

‘You got this momma, not all of us are here to judge,’ commented another person.

Someone else wrote: ‘I am your village. You are safe with me!’

In a follow-up clip, Hannah revealed that she had received ‘countless shaming’ comments.

She noted that in addition to the hate, she also received a slew of love and support from other moms.

Speaking to People, the mom-of-two revealed that she had ‘no idea’ her diaper video would go viral.

She told the outlet: ‘I don’t think I realized how many diapers I had changed that day. I just pulled out my phone and filmed a funny video. I didn’t think it was going to be controversial or honestly attract attention whatsoever.

‘Yes, there were 17 diapers around my house but they didn’t see me coloring with my son, while breastfeeding my newborn at the same time. They didn’t see me taking my son to the park, pushing him on the swing, while holding my newborn.’

The mom also had a comeback for the viewers that were criticizing her husband as she explained that he was ‘gone for one day’ and that they ‘both agreed’ Hannah ‘could handle the kids.’

Speaking about the support she received, Hannah said that other moms came forward and shared the things that they were struggling with postpartum.

‘They were sharing struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety. They were sharing how hard it was to get out of bed, to shower, and even feed themselves let alone breastfeeding a newborn,’ she said.
