Kmart Australia shoppers are raving about a $5.50 item, with many calling it ‘genius’ for transforming wardrobes.

Tenielle Hamlin, from Brisbane, stumbled across the 20-pack Flocked Hanger Clips, designed to transform a standard coat hanger into a pants holder.

‘Have you seen these before? Genius if you ask me,’ Tenielle said in her video. 

The space-saving clips, which can double your hanging space, are perfect for hanging skirts, pants, shorts and accessories.

‘If you are forever trying to find those coat hangers with clips on or find that you never have enough of those hangers, you’re going to love this,’ she said. 

‘Went to Kmart because I needed some more coat hangers with those little clips. (Instead) I found these clips in the coat hanger department. 

‘Essentially you can make your regular coat hangers into the clip coat hangers.’

Tenielle pointed out that the clips are designed for Kmart’s coat hangers, but shoppers may also be able to use them on their own velvet hangers.

‘Lucky for me I already have Kmart’s hangers but I bought some more because I feel like I’m forever running out of coat hangers,’ she said.

She said the’ Kmart hangers are ‘so good’ and ‘look nice’ in her wardrobe.  

‘They’re so cheap,’ she said. 

‘So basically you just get your normal coat hanger that you’ve got from Kmart… You put the clips on and your regular coat hanger becomes a pant coat hanger.

‘How good is that? Rather than buy a new coat hanger, you just buy the clips and you can take them on and off or swap them for different hangers when you need them.

‘I thought it was genius… They are the best. No more tops slipping off… I was really stoked with that and I’ve never see this before so I thought I’d share.’

Her video has been viewed more than 20,000 times – with many describing them as  a ‘brilliant’ hanging solution.
